There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
These words to a hymn are really about the way nature shows us the truth that all endings are really new beginnings. Debra has spent the winter in South Florida in the sunshine and warmth, while Joel has been shoveling snow in Michigan. April finds us enjoying the blessings of being back in the same place at the same time.
Meanwhile, all the good stuff remains and you can appreciate that we continue sharing wit and wisdom in all the regular posts: Joel’s blog; Debra’s blog; Debra’s Tips for Well-being; Language Tips; and the Beyond Mastery monthly newsletter.
Anticipating we will have rain within this month of showers promised to bring us flowers, perhaps it is good that we remember the words to another song, “When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, and don’t be afraid of the dark.”
To help us all with holding our head up high, here is an inspiring quotation from Lesson 56 from the Daily Offerings of A Course In Miracles:
“The world I see holds my fearful self-image in place, and guarantees its continuance. While I see the world as I see it now, truth cannot enter my awareness. I would let the door behind this world be opened for me, that I may look past it to the world that reflects the Love of God.”
Spring shows us the ontological mystery of changing seasons. Nature in springtime does, indeed, reflect the Love of God. Enjoy it as you express deep gratitude that spring always follows winter!
