They have an 1880’s farmhouse and one of the walls “is” settling causing the wood floors to buckle. She noticed an area that was getting worse. In a panic she called a foundation expert to come out.
He pointed out all the things that had been done over the past several decades to shore it up and make it sturdy. The area of the floor she had noticed that was newly disturbed was only caused by the dry winter.
He said her foundation was as solid as ever!
