The family was all meeting with the pastor to plan his mother’s eulogy. “In some cultures it is common for the spirit of the loved one to visit. Although that is not as well recognized in our culture, I hope you will remain open to the possibility that she will visit.”
“She already has!” came the shout.
Just days before, his mom had passed away. She had been living with his sister in another state.
At 3:30 am, the morning before they were driving to her home town for her visitation and funeral, the plaque fell off the wall. The plaque is hung on a wire which is hung a by a screw that is pushed upwards!
The plaque was a gift from his mother.
This visit was such a perfect fit for her sense of humor!
