A while back I posted a tip (Volunteering, December 2015) about how those who volunteer have greater self-confidence and sense of purpose, and how being a volunteer prevents depression and keeps one healthy.
I decided encouraging volunteering again is worthwhile when I saw a wonderful video about Sally, the 97-year-old dog walker.
Sally’s video was watched over 10 million times and shared by more than 200,000 people in just three days.
Whether or not you take time to enjoy Sally’s video, this week give volunteering some real thought. Thank a volunteer. Make a call. Our world benefits when we all have greater self-confidence and sense of purpose.
