A recent CNN article expounded on the things ER docs avoid in their own homes. A few were enough of a surprise the information is worthy of passing along, so here is the list of items:

Trampolines
Swimming pools
Button batteries
Guns
Old pain pills
Ramen noodles
High chairs that pull up to the table
Power washers
Extension ladders
We probably cannot remove all risks from our lives, but knowing what constitutes a risk not worth taking is true wisdom. You can read the article for the reasons the items that are not immediately obvious made the list.
This week, bring true wisdom to your choices. This probably goes way beyond noodles, batteries, and ladders, if you know what I mean….
