About ten days before the big party, the forecast was 100% chance of rain. When she asked her mother for help doing “frog medicine” to alter the weather pattern, her mother teased her about not trusting God with the weather. Her mother reminded her of a significant event recently. a hearing that might have resulted in the loss of a drivers license, due to a number of accidents. On the way to the hearing, the prayer was simply, “God hasn’t failed us yet.”
She could trust God with the big stuff but not the weather? Is frog medicine more powerful than God?
Her reply was, “Frog medicine is not more powerful than God, but I think God appreciates our help.”
Our help in whatever is happening may be our trust….
The result? No rain that day!
