COVID-19 cannot spread person-to-person if we are not OUT there.
Stay home! Stay safe! Buy time! Save lives!
This is how you can be taking good care of yourselves. Taking good care of yourself IS helping to keep others safe and that is the best thing for EVERYONE.
People must eat. If someone MUST go out for food, there are vital steps for safety.
1. Use technology to coordinate one person going out in a family, neighborhood, or other social group. Do not panic and do not horde.
2. Know the behaviors that are absolutely necessary for the safest meeting of essential needs.
3. Learn the stability safety guidelines related to COVID-19.(See CDC Facts.)
4. Mix a household-bleach cleaning fluid safely, and use it.
NEVER MIX BLEACH WITH AMMONIA OR ANY OTHER CLEANING AGENT
Check that your bleach is within the use date
Mix bleach in a well-ventilated space
Mix five tablespoons to one gallon
Mix four teaspoons to one quart
NEVER MIX BLEACH WITH AMMONIA OR ANY OTHER CLEANING AGENT
5. Wash your hands before and after you carefully wipe down the items coming into your home with your bleach solution.
This week is a good time to distinguish a “want” from a “need” so you can take these prudent steps. The lives you safeguard will be your own family, friends, colleagues, coworkers, or neighbors. Even one fatality is too many. Stay home!
