Laughter heals us. It is one of our heart’s songs. E.E. Cummings said the most wasted day is a day without laughter.
We know this to be true. We actually know lots of good things but the key is to make it a habit to do what is wholesome. We need good strategies for motivating ourselves to actions that are health-producing. Sometimes our temporary shortcomings are physical such as carelessness with our diet or exercise or rest. Emotional patterns can operate for generations, such as the infamous Hatfield-McCoy Feud.
This week, make developing life-giving emotional balance a habit. Let all the old baggage go, and laugh a lot!
