The flower children of the 1960’s chose the mantra of “flower power.” Research is now showing they were on to something big.
Flowers are good for people—potted, planted, cut, or dried. Even photos or paintings of flowers improves our mood and boosts our health.
Place a bouquet of cut flowers on a counter or desk and notice how many people comment, stop to smell, and admire.
Humans have always given flowers as a sign of love and care. We instinctively know nature is a powerful healing influence, and flowers are an easy way to enjoy the benefits.
This week, be mindful of your interactions with flowers. Love me or love me not, daisies do tell!
