A new year often presents itself with wonderful opportunity to invite life changes. If you have not yet found favorite exercise forms, consider making a commitment to try a new one every quarter this year. For example, sign up for a yoga class now; check out Tai Chi in the spring; join a biking group this summer; and start a walking program next fall. See what calls to you.

Thinking about what calls to you reminds me 8 Myths About Finding Your Calling, a blog post by Dr. Lissa Rankin. You might appreciate what she identifies as some of the myths, such as: (1) You only get one calling (2) Only chosen people have callings, and (3) If you’re following your calling, life is easy all the time.

This week, make your new start very intentional. It may take a while to get used to writing 2016, and finding your calling is something we can all be intentional about as well. Exercise your freedom, discover your bliss, and enjoy your year. It’s a brand new start!
