If you were God and wanted to communicate with human beings without using a human voice, how would you do it?
You’d perform little miracles, wouldn’t you? You’d create little miracles, like coincidences, that cause people to say, “What are the odds of this ever happening?”

On the eve of his birthday, at 11:37 am, I received an email message from Joel:
“When you have a chance, check the Kindle to see if Writing Down Your Soul is on it.”
Joel reads on his iPad because he can see it’s larger screen without glasses, so he lets me use his Kindle. I turned his Kindle on. As you can see in the photo below, at 12:27 pm there was no copy of Writing Down Your Soul on it.
But, Joel had a copy on his iPad.
According to Conner, the five things your soul wants are to: (1) connect with source, (2) commit to values, (3) serve a purpose, (4) express itself, and (5) create a life.
Janet Conner is also the author of the opening quotation in this article.
Her Writing Down Your Soul is the first in the “Your Soul Wants Five Things” series because she says before it can do anything else, your soul wants to and needs to “connect with Source.”
She proves that writing down your soul is the easiest, fastest way to make that connection and activate the divine voice within.
In Opening Up: The Healing Power of Expressing Emotions, James Pennebaker explains his research on inhibition and the healing power of expressing emotions. Through his years of research, Pennebaker has found that “holding back or inhibiting our thoughts and feelings can be hard work,” which can ultimately “place people at risk for both major and minor diseases,” “while confronting our deepest thoughts and feelings can have remarkable short- and long-term health benefits.”
In Expressive Writing: Words that Heal, Pennebaker and John Evans provide research results, in layman’s terms, which demonstrate how and when expressive writing can improve health. It explains why writing can often be more helpful than talking when dealing with trauma, and it prepares the reader for their writing experience. The book looks at the most serious issues and helps the reader process them. From the instructions: “Write about what keeps you awake at night. The emotional upheaval bothering you the most and keeping you awake at night is a good place to start writing.”
I logged on to Wifi, went through the synch function, and at 12:43 pm Writing Down Your Soul showed up on Joel’s Kindle at my house!
My body had chills as I suggested perhaps Joel and I are to read this book together while I am in Florida this winter. Now I am wondering if you would be interested in joining us using Zoom as a platform. This will be an organic process with a commitment to writing for the purpose of accessing your soul’s voice at the core. Send email or text when you know you are to be part of this. Before you commit, watch the hour-long interview Find Your Soul’s Purpose & Live a Life You Love!.
You may appreciate the role of theta brain waves in the science behind this form of writing.
What do theta waves do to the brain?
Unlike your other brain waves, the elusive voice of Theta is a silent voice. It is at the Alpha-Theta border, from 7Hz to 8Hz, where the optimal range for visualization, mind programming and using the creative power of your mind begins. It’s the mental state which you consciously create your reality.
