Her kids were coming to stay for a while. She had been keeping her husband’s ashes in the guest bedroom, but thought it best that she not leave them out.
After the visit, she looked for the ashes, but could not find them where she thought she had put them.
She was so sure she had slipped the container into the hanging garment bag.
Weeks of searching…. to no avail.
Finally, she knelt down by the bed, crying, and said to her husband’s spirit, “Alright! This game of hide-and-seek has gone on long enough. Give your ashes back to me, please.”
She went to the closet, and there at the bottom of the garment bag was the container with his ashes in it.
