Green Tea

We may very well now have another good reason to drink green tea. Green tea extract may end up being a natural treatment for cognitive disorders such as dementia!

The welcome antioxidant properties of green tea have been previously reported, with research showing that it can help prevent eye disease and (among nonsmokers) lung cancer.

According to Professor Stefan Borgwardt (a member of the research team), a report from the University at Basel, published in the journal Psychopharmacology, states:”Our findings suggest that green tea might increase the short-term synaptic plasticity of the brain.”
